Yes, that's right. But with this graph, I would only show that there are some buildings that are just unprofitable. i.e. the 150k tower makes no sense, there are greater tower which needs nearly the same place, but they are much more profitable.

great image... only thing though is i think we need to also really factor in the building density and long term return -. ie. sure you might pay an extra million for a building - but the rental returns are daily so the numbers will completely change over time in terms of overall rent versus initial cost

I have given up on green houses and cottages. Yes they give me a slightly higher rate of return, but I am going to have to see a chiropractor if I keep building and knocking down those things. I now only build the grid buildings, even that is still a pain. I feel like I am in the movie Brewster's Millions - struggling to find a way to spend my money.

Yes thats the power of compound interest....which is essentially what we have here....in an extreme form.

A small gain early turns into a masive advantage later on.

I was reasonably successfull in the first days, which positioned me squarely in my mational top ten list....I am pulling further ahead of those below me and dropping further behind those ahead of me. It all depends on how we played in the first couple of days with the rent multiplier.

my national list is relatively free from ganking...no one in the list attacks anyone else, and anyone not on it would be nuts to attack another player that has so much more resource than them.

The only thing i think will seriously change the order is if some one on the list starts cheating, or if someone uses a bunch of multi-accounts to attack someone just prior to the rent calculation....

My issue is that im rapidly approaching the point where it is simply a chore to build buildings. I think we will achieve some monor shufling bassed on peoples tolerance for spaming higher yield buildings longer, but i dont see any major shake-ups ....well other than account deletion when the player retires.

I find my self in a similar situation Brian, however keep this in mind. The game could change at any time, the developers have added features (some we like, some we don't) quickly without any advanced notice.

Who knows what the future holds, they may add a feature to see you're rank withing the local, national, or global leaderboard, they could re-instate the long street multiplier in some limited fashion, or what-ever.

The thing is, don't let someone else's success or failure affect yours. =)

Enjoy!

So I have been playing faithfully ever since the first day. I have followed the tips, I am at about $100 mil; finally getting into a good daily income. Just found a nice long $6 mil street yesterday that I was able to snag look forward to start building on.

However I am coming to the realization that my play is just mediocre in comparison with the masses. That there is nothing in the game that will give me an opportunity to surge ahead. Everyone will just keep bringing in money, replacing small building with bigger ones etc and everyone will increase proportionately to each other.

I guess I am just starting to get bored. With only a top 10 list, I have no idea how I am doing in relation to the world. I would love to see some kind of overall rank to give me something to shoot for. I will keep playing just to see how well I can do. But in the end, those who positioned themselves best in the first few days will win. Not even going to waste my breath on how the cheaters are still out in force and nothing is being done about them.
