Seems to me best strategy is to spend as little as possible on streets and as much as possible on buildings. Buildings about 1:1 while streets only pay about 10:1
At some point there will be no more properties. By that point you want to make sure that you have as much building potential as possible so at some point you should switch from buildings to property in order to have building space over time.

what’s my conclusion:
whitout hazard and transaction, here is what money you can get in the first days
(supposing you can build the little house infinitly on the street)
-if you buy a 1 million street:
1st day: 1m by day + rent 0.1
+ 2m*1 for building = 3.1m the next day
(*1 cause 1m street rent is 50k for 50k hous)
2nd day: 3.1m as the first day
+ 3.1m*1 for building = 6.2m next day
3rd day: 6.2 + 6.2*1 = 12.4m next
4th day: 12.4 + 12.4*1 = 24.8m…
-if you buy a 2 million street:
1st day: 1m by day + rent 0.2
+ 1m*2 for building = 3.2m the next day
2nd day: 3.2m as the first day
+ 3.2m*2 for building = 9.6m next day
3rd day: 9.6 + 9.6*2 = 9.6*3 = 28.8m
4th day: 28.8*3 = 86.4m…
-if you build a 2.5 million street:
1st day: 1m by day + rent 0.25
+ 0.5m*2.5 building = 2.5m the next day
2nd day: 2.5*3.5 = 8.75m
3rd day: 8.75*3.5 = 30.625m
4th day: 30.625*3.5 = 107.2m
5th day: 107.2*3.5 = 375m…
-if you build a 2.9 million street:
1st day: 1m by day + rent 0.29
+ 0.1m*2.9 building = 1.58m the next day
2nd day: 1.58*3.9 = 6.162m
3rd day: 6.162*3.9 = 24.031m
4th day: 24*3.9 = 93m
5th day: 93*3.9 = 365m…
So, next tonight, someone with more than 150m is, or very lucky (good cards, nice exchange), or very good with computers

Of course, the best way is to start with a 2m street, and asap buy a 5 or 6m street the 3rd day, and so on…
But you’ll have to wait 10/15 days before to be in the charts…
